Music Camp

15.03.17

For three days last week, over 60 excited music students went to Nelson for the first Music Camp of the year. Students from Concert Band, Big Band, Thunder Drum Corps, Concert Choir, Brass Ensemble, Saxophone Quartet, Woodwind Ensemble and Senior Vocal Ensemble enjoyed three days of team building, rehearsals and performances. Activities were lead by our Music Captains Chloe Perryman and Liam Fennell, with the theme of ‘Mario Kart’ which provided a great spirit of friendship across the wide range of ages (Years 6-12).

The students presented two concerts, one for parents and friends and one for the younger Tenison Woods College community. The amount of learning the students achieve on camp is amazing and sets them up for a productive year of music making. Congratulations to all who participated in the camp.
